TOYOTA SPEEDWAY AT IRWINDALE DRAG STRIP SCHEDULE UPDATE
IRWINDALE, Calif. (June 28, 2008) – TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale officials announced
changes to its drag strip competition schedule effective immediately.
The NHRA Summit Street Legal Drag Racing event originally scheduled for Sunday July
13, 2008 has been rescheduled for Sunday, July 20. This schedule change was made to
accommodate other scheduled drag racing activities taking place in Southern California on
the 13th.
There is no Test and Tune event scheduled for Thursday, July 3. This is to allow track
personnel to prepare the facility for the California Highway Patrol 200 NASCAR event and
fireworks show scheduled for Friday, July 4.
All other dates and events list on the Speedway ’s drag strip schedule available at www.
toyotaspeedwayatirwindale.com remain as is.

TOYOTA Speedway’s drag strip will feature Test and Tune Street Legal racing action this
Thursday night (May 22) from 5-10 p.m. with gates open at 4 p.m. and again on Sunday
(May 25) from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. with gates opening at 9 a.m. It costs $20.00 to compete.
Spectators pay $10.00 with kids 5 years of age and under admitted for free.

discount off of the purchase of up to four (4) adult general admission tickets for Saturday
